Introduction:

The Peniella Foundation – African Professionals Women’s Network (PF-APWN) is an initiative aimed at empowering African women professionals to excel in their respective fields, drive positive change in their communities, and contribute to societal transformation. With a focus on leadership empowerment, innovation, Work-Home balance, support for underprivileged women, and the creation of safe havens for vulnerable women, PF-APWN seeks to create a vibrant network of empowered women leaders who are catalysts for social impact and change.

 

Vision:

The vision of PF-APWN is to create the empowered women who are agents of change, impact, and social transformation

 

Mission:

To provide a platform for African Professional Women to connect, collaborate and amplify their voices. Through networking opportunities, entrepreneurship skills, Intellectual Property Knowledge Uptick, family enrichment and pursuit of godly values, the network aims to advance the leadership, visibility and impact of Africa Professional Women in various sector.

 

Objectives:

Leadership Empowerment: PF-APWN aims to empower women with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to become effective leaders in all aspects of human endeavors, national development, and global innovation. Through leadership development programs, mentorship, and networking opportunities, PF-APWN will equip women with the tools they need to create meaningful impact in their professions and communities.

 

  1. Enhancing Women Innovation and Creativity: PF-APWN recognizes the importance of fostering innovation and creativity among women professionals. Through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative projects, PF-APWN will encourage women to explore their creative potential, develop innovative solutions to societal challenges, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and technology in Africa and beyond.

Through advocacy campaigns, awareness initiatives, and support programs, PF-APWN will promote work-life balance practices and policies that enable women to thrive both professionally and personally.

 

  1. Supporting Underprivileged Women to improve their livelihood: PF-APWN is committed to uplifting underprivileged women and providing them with opportunities for socio-economic empowerment. Through skills training, mentorship, and access to resources, PF-APWN will support underprivileged women in realizing their full potential and improving their quality of life.

Providing Safe Haven for the vulnerable women: PF-APWN recognizes the need for safe spaces where vulnerable women can seek refuge, support, and protection from various forms of violence and discrimination. PF-APWN will work to establish women safe houses and shelters that provide comprehensive support services, including counseling, legal assistance, and vocational training, to women in need.
